Vietnam’s panel manufacturing industry has growing demand for large-format composite panels, where manufacturers need cold pressing equipment that can accommodate long workpieces while maintaining controlled and uniform pressure. For factories using room-temperature curing adhesives such as PUR adhesive and white latex, the pressing system needs to provide sufficient holding time and consistent pressure throughout the bonding process.
For production environments with limited labor resources, equipment layout and operating efficiency are also important considerations. A multi-station pressing solution can help organize loading, pressing, and unloading operations more effectively.
A Vietnamese panel manufacturer required two 12-meter 16-cylinder two-stage cold press machines for large-format panel bonding. The production process uses PUR adhesive, white latex, and other room-temperature curing adhesives.
The customer needed a long pressing platform suitable for large panels, while also reducing manual handling intensity. Another requirement was to support the local industrial power supply of 380V/50Hz and provide practical pressure and holding-time control for daily production.
Henglite designed a 12-meter 16-cylinder two-stage cold press machine with two independent hydraulic pressure stations. Each pressing section provides a maximum pressure of 30 tons, customizable, allowing the system to accommodate different panel bonding requirements.
The machine is equipped with two movable worktables, each measuring 6000 * 1800 mm, while the overall base measures 12000 * 1800 * 1300 mm. The two-stage structure allows the two working sections to operate in staggered cycles, helping reduce waiting between loading and pressing operations.
After reviewing the proposed configuration, the customer confirmed that the two-stage layout matched its production organization and workforce conditions. The movable worktables provide a practical method for handling long panels, while the 16-cylinder distributed pressing structure is designed to support uniform pressure across the working area.
The 380V/50Hz electrical configuration, PLC holding-time control, and visual pressure monitoring also correspond to the customer's daily operating requirements.
This Vietnamese project demonstrates how cold press machine selection should be based on panel dimensions, adhesive characteristics, pressing requirements, factory power conditions, and labor organization rather than pressure capacity alone.
For this application, the 12-meter working layout, 16-cylinder distributed pressing system, two independent 30-ton hydraulic stages, 6000 * 1800 mm movable tables, and PLC-controlled pressure holding form the core technical configuration. The two-stage staggered operation provides a practical approach for factories processing large-format panels with room-temperature curing adhesives.
