This equipment is an integrated aluminum foil coating and printing machine built on a compact gantry frame. Unwinding, roller-based adhesive line printing, temperature-controlled heating, conveying, and fixed-length cutting are combined into one coordinated system.
Developed for aluminum honeycomb core manufacturing, the machine applies adhesive lines onto aluminum foil substrates by roller printing. Gluing, preheating, and cutting are completed in a linked operation, producing coated foil with fairly orderly ends for subsequent core stacking. In contrast to spray gluing, roller coating printing can offer more repeatable adhesive line formation.
The machine offers stepless speed adjustment to suit varied production tact arrangements. Coating, heating, and cutting are coordinated in one workflow, with less need to move materials between separate stations and fewer idle periods linked to process handover. Adhesive lines are formed in a repeatable manner, and cut ends tend to remain orderly, which can reduce adjustment effort in later core stacking and help support steady batch processing of honeycomb core substrates.
An independent electrical control cabinet is provided, with power circuits and control circuits arranged in separate zones. Space for guarding is reserved around moving rollers, and interlock limit devices are fitted at operating positions. The heating module uses closed-loop temperature regulation to help reduce the risk of local overheating. The electrical cabinet is separated and protected to lower exposure to dust and aluminum scraps, in line with common safety practices for extended workshop operation.
The equipment supplies adhesive-coated aluminum foil substrates for aluminum honeycomb core production and can be used with aluminum honeycomb panel lines. Resulting honeycomb cores are commonly applied in building curtain wall panels, cleanroom sandwich panels, lightweight rail transit parts, marine composite panels, and decorative honeycomb boards.
Rollers, transmission assemblies, heating ducts, and cutting mechanisms are arranged in modular form to facilitate inspection and removal. Lubrication points are provided at transmission locations, and the control panel gives real-time status feedback for convenient condition checks. Routine upkeep mainly involves cleaning glue rollers, removing dust from heating ducts, and checking gaps in cutting guides. Tightening fasteners at intervals can help support steady operation over time.
