This down-stroke two-layer hot press uses a frame steel structure with a modular blue-and-orange layout. Hydraulic cylinders are positioned on the upper frame together with layered platens. A thermal-oil circulation heating system and hydraulic drive are included; temperature can be adjusted within a set range, and forming pressure is delivered steadily through the hydraulic structure. The unit is applied to mat laminating, shaping and surface embossing, and serves as a core forming unit in yoga mat production lines.
The press is configured with two separate working layers for hot pressing at the same time, which adds working stations within one machine footprint. In contrast with single-layer versions, the two-layer arrangement can process two workpiece sets in one pressing cycle, supporting flexible scheduling and the steady batch production rhythm of factories. The down-stroke hydraulic transmission is arranged to keep platen movement coordinated and to reduce idle waiting related to motion deviation during cycles.
The welded steel frame offers structural load margin for repeated cyclic pressing. A safety guard mesh surrounds the moving platen area to help reduce accidental operator contact. The hydraulic circuit includes pressure-limiting protection that caps pressure when a preset value is approached or exceeded. Electrical control components are placed in separate compartments with standardized wiring, which helps lower electrical failure risk during long continuous operation.
The equipment is mainly used in larger-scale yoga mat manufacturing and is suitable for hot forming, surface embossing and lamination of TPE, EVA and foam sports mat substrates. It can be matched with yoga mat OEM plants and gym mat production lines for anti-slip mats and thicker exercise mats, and it also supports low-temperature pressing of comparable flexible foam sheets.
The hydraulic power pack, oil cylinders and thermal-oil pipelines are modularized to facilitate point inspection and spare-part replacement. Heating pipelines on the platens are divided into zones, so local heating units can be checked separately. Routine maintenance includes hydraulic oil level and quality checks, safety guard fixation inspection, terminal tightening and circulation oil filter cleaning. Reserved access space allows regular maintenance without extensive machine disassembly.
