This down-stroke two-layer hot press features a frame-type steel structure and modular layout, finished with a blue and orange color scheme. Hydraulic cylinders are mounted on the upper frame, paired with layered pressing platens. Fitted with a thermal oil circulation heating assembly and hydraulic drive assembly, the unit can work within a tunable temperature range and maintain consistent forming pressure through its hydraulic configuration. It is applied for lamination, contour forming, and surface texture pressing of sheet materials, acting as a key forming station within yoga mat production lines.
This equipment comes with two separate working layers to run hot pressing operations at the same time, adding available working positions while keeping the footprint of one standalone machine. Different from single-layer variants, the two-layer layout can handle two groups of workpieces in one pressing cycle, which facilitates flexible production planning and adapts to factories' continuous batch processing demands. The down-stroke hydraulic drive helps the platens move in coordination and cut down extra waiting time brought by inconsistent movement during each working cycle.
The integrally welded steel frame reserves extra structural load capacity under repeated cyclic pressing scenarios. Protective mesh surrounds the moving platen area to avoid unintended contact from operators. Pressure limiting protection is integrated into the hydraulic loop, which restricts pressure output once readings go beyond set parameters. Electric control parts are placed in independent cabins with wiring following standard specifications, helping reduce the chance of electrical faults during long-duration continuous operation.
It fits large-volume yoga mat fabrication scenarios, and supports hot forming, surface texture pressing, and lamination for TPE, EVA, and foamed sports mat base materials. It can be deployed in yoga mat OEM workshops and gym mat production lines for anti-slip pads and thick exercise pad processing, and is also compatible with low-temperature pressing jobs for other similar flexible foam sheets.
Hydraulic power unit, oil cylinders, and thermal oil pipelines adopt a modular design, which simplifies spot inspection and spare parts replacement. Heating pipelines on platens are split into separate zones, so individual heating sections can be checked independently. Daily maintenance items include hydraulic oil level and condition inspection, checking the fastening status of safety guards, tightening wiring terminals, and cleaning circulating oil filters. Reserved operating clearance makes periodic maintenance possible without major machine disassembly.
