Russian Door and Composite Panel Manufacturer Adopts Two Layer Hot Press Machine for Stable Cold Climate Production
Market Background

Russia’s woodworking and composite panel manufacturing industries face unique production challenges due to long winter seasons and low-temperature factory environments. For manufacturers producing wooden doors, decorative panels, and multi-layer composite boards, maintaining stable heating performance, reliable pressure control, and consistent bonding quality is essential for continuous production.

In cold climate regions, traditional pressing equipment may experience challenges related to hydraulic system operation, heating stability, and material bonding consistency. Manufacturers require hot press solutions that can adapt to low-temperature working conditions while supporting efficient panel processing and long-term industrial operation.

Customer and Application Scenario

The customer is a Russian manufacturer specializing in wooden doors, decorative panels, and composite board products. The production line required a two layer hot press machine capable of handling large-format materials, including wood panels, decorative films, and multi-layer composite boards.

The main production requirements included stable temperature output in winter factory conditions, uniform pressing for surface bonding, and reliable operation during extended production schedules.

The customer needed equipment that could support continuous pressing operations while reducing manual handling frequency and maintaining consistent product quality for different surface materials.

Our Solution

Henrriet supplied two sets of two layer hot press machines designed for cold climate industrial production environments.

The equipment is equipped with a hydraulic system featuring 10 synchronized φ90mm hydraulic cylinders and a 4kW hydraulic pump. The system includes overload relief protection and insulated hydraulic pipelines designed for low-temperature factory conditions in Russia, helping maintain stable hydraulic operation during winter production.

For heating performance, the machine adopts a thermal oil circulation heating system with a 2.2kW thermal oil pump and 54kW segmented heating tubes. The pressing plate uses a 42mm thick structure, with full-area temperature difference controlled within ≤±3℃, supporting stable heating performance during cold environment operation.

The machine structure includes a reinforced welded heavy-duty frame and independent double-layer pressing plates. With a maximum opening distance of 200mm, the equipment is suitable for thicker wooden doors and multi-layer composite panels, providing convenient loading and unloading conditions.

The electrical control system is equipped with a Chinese-Russian bilingual operation interface, supporting automatic pressure holding timing, pressure release, and opening/closing procedures. The machine is compatible with Russia’s industrial power standard of 380V/50Hz.

For production safety, the equipment integrates a safety enclosure, mechanical stroke limit, emergency stop interlock, and over-temperature and over-pressure alarm functions. Export preparation includes IPPC fumigated wooden packaging, Russian operation manuals, CE inspection certificates, and bilingual customs documentation.

Customer Feedback

After installation, the customer reported that the machine maintained stable heating and temperature control performance during daily production. The controlled heating process allowed different adhesive systems to achieve sufficient activation, supporting close bonding between wood veneer, decorative films, and panel surfaces.

The two-layer pressing structure enabled simultaneous processing of two full-size panels within the same working cycle, helping optimize production organization under the existing workforce conditions.

The customer also recognized the stable operation during extended production periods. The reinforced frame structure reduced vibration during operation and supported continuous manufacturing requirements, including overnight production schedules.
