This down-stroke two-layer hot press uses a frame steel structure and a modular layout in blue and orange. Hydraulic cylinders are mounted on the upper frame, with layered platens. It is configured with a thermal oil circulation heating system and a hydraulic drive system. The temperature range can be adjusted, and forming pressure is delivered through the hydraulic structure in a steady manner. The unit is applied to laminating, shaping, and surface embossing of mats and serves as a core forming unit in yoga mat production lines.
The machine has two separate working layers that can perform hot pressing at the same time, which increases working positions within the footprint of one unit. In comparison with single-layer versions, the two-layer arrangement can process two sets of workpieces in one pressing cycle, which supports flexible production scheduling and fits factories' needs for steady continuous batch output. The down-stroke hydraulic transmission helps the platens move in a coordinated way and can reduce idle waiting related to motion deviation in each cycle.
The welded steel frame is integrated to offer structural allowance for repeated cyclic pressing. A safety guard mesh surrounds the moving platen area to support operator safety by limiting access to the moving zone. The hydraulic circuit includes pressure-limiting protection, with preset thresholds to limit overpressure. Electrical control components are placed in separate compartments with standardized wiring, which can help reduce electrical fault risk during long continuous operation.
The equipment is typically applied in large-scale yoga mat manufacturing and can be used for hot forming, surface embossing, and lamination of TPE, EVA, and foam sports mat substrates. It fits yoga mat OEM factories and gym mat production lines for anti-slip mats and thick exercise mats, and it can also support low-temperature pressing of similar flexible foam sheets.
The hydraulic power pack, oil cylinders, and thermal oil pipelines are arranged in modular sections to facilitate point inspection and spare-part replacement. Heating pipelines on the platens are split into zones, so individual heating sections can be checked separately. Regular upkeep includes checking hydraulic oil level and quality, inspecting safety guard fixation, tightening terminals, and cleaning the circulation oil filter. Access clearance is reserved to support routine servicing with limited machine dismantling.
