Maintenance and Upkeep

Silicone cushions are wearing parts; their surface condition should be routinely inspected, and worn or damaged cushions should be replaced promptly to prevent scratching of workpieces. Electrical wiring and heating components should be inspected, and dust and debris should be removed to ensure proper heat dissipation and reliable electrical contact. Fasteners on the frame and platens should be re-tightened periodically. Hydraulic and electrical assemblies should not be disassembled by unqualified personnel. For long-term shutdown, dust-proof protection should be applied, and platens should be kept in a safe open position. All maintenance work must be performed under power-off and pressure-release conditions.
