The Russian woodworking and panel-processing market includes applications that require reliable pressing for furniture panels, composite boards, and other wood-based materials. For manufacturers working with long-format panels, equipment selection needs to consider pressing area, cylinder synchronization, hydraulic stability, and machine rigidity. In this case, the customer required one hydraulic cold press machine for regular panel pressing operations, with a delivery requirement of 25 days.
The customer is located in Russia and required a 3-cylinder hydraulic cold press machine for woodworking and composite panel pressing. The main production requirement was to apply pressure evenly across the panel surface during pressing.
For long-format boards, the customer also needed a sufficiently large working table. The specified working table is 3500 * 1250 mm, providing a pressing area suitable for the customer's panel dimensions.
The customer also considered long-term continuous operation and equipment maintenance. Compared with some local equipment options, the customer placed particular attention on structural rigidity, overall machine weight, deformation resistance, and ease of maintenance.
Based on the application requirements, we configured a 60-ton 3-cylinder hydraulic cold press machine.
The machine uses three 125 mm hydraulic cylinders working synchronously to distribute pressing force across the panel. This configuration is intended to reduce uneven local pressure during pressing and help minimize problems such as localized hollow areas.
The hydraulic system is driven by a 5.5 kW motor, while the effective stroke can be selected from 1000 mm, 1300 mm, or 1500 mm according to the customer's production requirements.
The 3500 * 1250 mm working table provides a large pressing area for long-format panels. The overall machine dimensions can also be customized according to the customer's workshop layout and installation requirements.
For structural requirements, the machine is designed with a rigid and substantial frame structure. This is particularly relevant to continuous woodworking panel pressing, where repeated loading can place long-term demands on the machine frame.

After reviewing the configuration, the customer focused on the synchronized three-cylinder pressing structure, large working table, and robust machine construction. The customer feedback indicated that the equipment met the requirements for woodworking and composite panel pressing, particularly where uniform panel pressure and long-format board processing were important.
The customer also considered the hydraulic system's operating stability and the machine's straightforward maintenance structure suitable for regular production use.
This Russian project demonstrates that selecting a cold press machine for woodworking panels requires more than considering maximum pressing force. Cylinder synchronization, working table size, hydraulic configuration, stroke selection, frame rigidity, and maintenance requirements should be evaluated together.
For this application, the 60-ton maximum pressure, three 125 mm hydraulic cylinders, 3500 * 1250 mm working table, and 5.5 kW motor provide the core technical configuration. The selectable 1000/1300/1500 mm effective stroke and customizable overall dimensions further allow the machine to be adapted to different panel pressing requirements and workshop layouts.
